From the enormous and European to the little and local, here are some cracking Christmas markets in Dorset and on the Isle of Wight.
1. I Love Wight Christmas Market 2019
Annual Christmas Market takes place on Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December at The Garlic Farm. There will be two rooms plus the beautiful courtyard full of locally made crafts, art, toiletries, jewellery, produce and gifts.
2. Northwood House Christmas Fair
Join us for on 23rd and 24th November for our annual Christmas Gift Fair. Find those special presents and stocking fillers in the beautiful setting of Northwood House. Bring the children along to visit Santa’s Grotto and meet Father Christmas.
3. Donkey Sanctuary
Christmas Market on Sunday 24th November. It runs from 10am – 4pm and is inside…There will be 30 Christmas and Craft stalls, and music from the “Airwaves Children’s Wind” band who will be performing at 12pm.
4. Dorset Food & Drink Christmas Fair
10am – 4pm Saturday 23rd November & Sunday 24th November.
Annual festive foodie event with over 50 amazing producers selling distinctively Dorset & seasonal produce set in the lovely grounds of Athelhampton House and Gardens, Dorchester.
5. RNLI College Poole
8 December 2019
Get in the festive spirit with the annual RNLI College Christmas Market. The market will be a great chance to purchase Christmas gifts for friends and family, or have a browse and enjoy a glass of mulled wine and festive food whilst enjoying the live music.
6. The Buttermarket Christmas Market, Poundbury
Now in its 4th year we are delighted to tell you that this year the Christmas Market will be on Saturday 7th December. It’s small business Saturday on 7th December so it’s the perfect time to come out and support your local community. We have 35 stalls, with crafts, food and drink, Christmas Jazz Music and Santa Grotto.
7. Sturminster’s Big Christmas Weekend
30th Nov 2019 2pm – 8pm
Father Christmas is busy planning this year’s Sturminster Big Christmas Weekend. Along with his elves he is organising a host of exciting events.
Christmas fayre in The Exchange, Car and bike enthusiasts meet, Entertainment throughout the afternoon by XS, Appearances from William Barnes and Knighton school choirs, Christmas Human Fruit Machine, The Anonymous Traveling Market In Station Road. The Marketplace will host The Father Christmas Grotto and food and festival drinks, a Raffle, face painting and fun throughout the afternoon. The main event of the afternoon is The Christmas Tree light switch on at 5.00pm AND Lantern procession from the Exchange.
8. Cowes Christmas Fair
